Occupational Health and Safety Policy

CONTRATAS Y OBRAS CORE, S.L., a company dedicated to the delivery of civil construction works, considers the Prevention of Occupational Risks to be a fundamental principle whose purpose is to protect the life, wellbeing and health of all its own workers and those of its partner companies.

Our commitments

To this end, the company undertakes to:

• Integrate occupational risk prevention into the organisation and throughout the delivery of its activity.
• Provide the human and technical resources appropriate to the development of occupational risk prevention across the group.
• Assess the risks present in its professional activity, both generally — through risk assessments of the company’s different job roles — and specifically, by drawing up dedicated safety plans that analyse and study the risks identified in each activity. The purpose of these documents is to eliminate the risks detected or, failing that, to determine the safety measures needed to minimise them.
• Plan preventive actions to avoid or control risks, setting out deadlines, responsibilities, resources, methods and costs.
• Train and inform workers about the policy, the objectives and the risks arising from their work, as well as the corresponding prevention and protection measures.
• Monitor workers’ health periodically according to the risks of their role.
• Provide work equipment appropriate to the correct performance of each task.
• Analyse emergency situations and adopt the measures required for first aid, firefighting and the evacuation of workers.
• Carry out the Coordination of Business Activities at third-party sites where our commercial activity takes place.
• Monitor and follow up on the effectiveness of the preventive policy by reviewing working conditions.
